Fishing tough conditions (Interview w/Casey Tutorow)

Tournament fishing is easy! Doing well and winning however is a whole other story. Truly great fisherman find a way to get fish in the boat no matter what the circumstances are. From what i (Fud) have witnessed Casey Tutorow and John LeMaster are some of these fishermen so i asked Casey if he would share the knowledge that he and John used to win a specific tournament the ICA held at Cagles Mill Lake, where the water was 20 plus feet high and there was 23 teams with only THREE boats bringing in more than 1 fish. Not only did Casey and John limit out with 6 channel cats they also won big fish with a very respectable 15.5lb channel. He agreed so here it is!

CFPro – Can you give us some background info on yourself and partner like how long you have been catfishing? How long tournament catfishing? How long have you and John been partners? What city do you and John live?

Casey – Johnny and myself have been fishing with our fathers since birth. At age ten or so we both started tournament fishing with our dads in the ica. At sixteen my dad was unable to compete anymore due to work and I started on my own. I have been catfishing my whole life and it is my passion. John and I both live on the eastside of Indianapolis, Indiana. John and I have been tournament partners for three years even thoe we had fished many times before that together.
