9-28-2013 Iron Man (Ohio River)

9-28-2013 Extreme Catfishing held the annual Iron Man out of Carrollton,KY. 40 teams showed up to fish this year which was a nice increase to see it growing into a must fish tourney. I fished with Stephen Hannan. I met up with Jason and Heath Malone again to fish for bait at McAlpine the day before the tourney. We caught some small skips.

Tournament time started with a 2.5 hour fog delay. Once lifted we headed up river to our spot and marked some fish however we drifted it about 4 times and could not hook up with anything. We then moved up to the Dam and drifted it but could not hook up there as well. We moved down river and drifted and caught one channel about 2-3lbs After a short break we got back out for 2nd half. I think we caught about 15-16lbs with two fish one Flathead one channel. And ended up about 13th place but not positive as Chad doesn’t post his entire results.
