8-24-2013 EC Huntington

Extreme Catfishing held the tournament at Huntington reservoir the week after the ICA tourney and the day of the catfishingpro.com gathering. We had a nice cookout with burgers and chips and corn on the cob and shot the crap for awhile. The tournament had 5 boats show up to fish so we did a winner take all and big fish. I fished the tournament again with my son Brandon Wallace. This time i decided to go hit a channel with 2 flats on each side for the first couple hours till it got dark then go shallower. In my first spot i caught 4 turtles, largemouth bass,yellow belly, and a small channel cat. We then moved to the shallows after dark and started catching them with a nice 8.25lb channel being the biggest. I wasnt real confident going to the scale as i felt like the bite slowed down since last weekend. But in the end we got first place and big fish. Which was our first time winning first and getting big fish.

 

1st Place: Chris Wallace and Brandon Wallace 15.75lbs.
Also won big cat with 8.25lbs.
2nd Place: Terry Holding and Mary Jane Wood 7.15lbs.
3rd Place: Team Extreme 5.40lbs
