7-13-2013 ICA White River @ Broad Ripple

Howdy, My son and i pre fished this area and found where to get bait and learned a few things like the ramp sucks the water is shallow in places there is more pleasure boaters here than i have ever seen and you can only go up river from the ramp and not for very far with anything with a prop. I however did see a 30+ lb flathead swim right under my boat when i beached it on the bank. On tournament time we went to where the shad was and threw the net and got a few shad. Went to our spot and threw out a good mixture of bait. Live gills Live shad, Cut shad fresh. The live shad got hammered pretty quick and was 7.9 lb channel the rest of the night was pretty slow only managing to catch one more channel pretty close to the same size as the first.
