4-19-2014 ICA – Morse Reservoir

4-19-2014 ICA Morse Reservoir. I fished this tourney with my ICA partner for this year Daniel Lux. We came down the day before and pre fished and scouted a bit and came up with a plan. We started the day out drifting about 15-20ft water. The wind had completely changed directions from the day before. After that we anchored up on a ledge from deep to shallow and got no bites there. Then we set up right off the bank mid lake area. We caught 1 or 2 small channels there. We then headed up to a spot we had looked at on Google earth in the days before and as we got there we seen Terry and Mary Jane set up exactly on the spot we wanted. They could see the look of disappointment on my face and told me i could anchor up around them. We did and sat there and watched them start nailing fish left and right. We got a few bites there but we anchored up wrong with all the boat traffic so decided to go to the other side of them. We caught more fish there but nothing really big. We could still see Terry and Mary Jane catching fish slower now but still catching them. We finished out the tourney there because we did not want to leave biting fish. Terry  and Mary jane ended up winning and getting big fish of the tourney and we ended up right in the middle of the pack at 13th out of 25 boats.
