4-13-2013 WC Tanners Creek

This tournament was supposed to be a 2 part tourney with the first segment going from 7 am to 1 pm then 3 pm to 9 pm. Only 5 boats showed up and the person running the tournament overslept. So it ended up being a 8 am to 5 pm tourney with winner take all. I fished this tourney with my son Brandon Wallace.

We fished up in a creek as the wind was supposed to be 20-30 mph and wanted to stay out of the main river as much as possible. We had a good variety of bait but the bait of choice was guts. I got catching the first channel on film but not the 2 blues. We caught 5 fish technically but i threw two back as i wasnt sure if this club had a minimum size limit. Had i not thrown them back i would have got 2nd place.

We had 15.7 lbs with 2 blues and a channel.
